A Blog Worthy Post! Well, there have been many of them since my last post, but I just can't seem to keep up these days :o(
Too many kids to chase around! Ha!!

BUT...my baby boy Graduated Kindergarten tonight! Weston is a part of the Class of 2023! Unbelievable! It seems he is growing up way too fast! He is such a cutie!

BUT...it's a new year :o)

On Wednesday, July 7th, our sweet baby doll will be turning ONE! That feels strange to type, let alone to say. It just seems impossible! This year has been such a blessing and I am so thankful that God has been so gracious to let us raise our Adorable Alivia!!
She quite possibly could be the most spoiled thing to ever hit the Earth, but we all think that's okay! No matter what she does, one of her brothers is right by her side! Quinton and Weston adore her and it has been that way since the day she arrived! I keep waiting for the tide to change and for her to be the "pest" that all little sisters become (haha), but for right now, she has body guards and endless entertainment wherever she goes!

We love you SO much Alivia!

Okay...so....SO MUCH for my New Year's Resolution of keeping the blog more updated! Apparently I broke that one pretty quick! BUT, you gotta start somewhere, so I pick Easter!

The kids are growing up so fast that I feel like I can't keep up with all of their new milestones, but here are a few:

Alivia - 9 Months Old

Can say Buh-Buh (first word), Mama (second word), Dada (third word...but who's counting! lol) and Buh-By (and only when she really wants to!)
Has two bottom teeth. The first one broke through right at 8 months and the second one followed about a week later
Is a VERY fast crawler and can cruise around furniture pretty well. She can stand for about 1 second on her own :o)
As of her last appt., Ms. Priss weighed in at 20.8lbs....yes...she's a chunker....and we LOVE it!!
LOVES Gerber Puffs and Gerber Yogurt Bites and all the baby food fruit....HATES all vegetables (I was hoping she would take after her dad on this, but apparently the "Vegetable Hating" gene is much stronger...lol)
Mostly sleeps through the night....mostly....we're working on it...

Weston - 5 years old

Weston is an official "T-Ball" player and could not be more excited about it!
Can write his name...very well, I might add...
His daddy his his "Best Bud" and he reminds me daily....sometimes he lets me be a "fill in" if Wess is gone for too lengthy of a time, but I'm quickly replaced whenever dad gets back home....(I hear this changes back and forth over the years, but with Weston, that's pretty much just the way its been and I've come to terms with that.....well, sort of ...)

Quinton - 7 years old

Quinton is my big 2nd grader...that's really hard to type
Playing Coach Pitch for a Fayetteville League this year. He's come a long way and has turned out to be a pretty good ball player! We are very proud of him!
He is so bright and LOVES math! This makes me happy :o)
Huge, Huge....did I say HUGE help with Alivia! She adores both her brothers, but Quinton is so patient with her and she pretty much thinks he hung the moon! It is adorable how she lights up when he enters the room!

Hog Fans and Snow Fun

This time in our life is so much fun! Quinton and Weston are at such great ages to interact with and have fun and Alivia is learning new things every day (she's an official "scooter" now) and each day reminds us just how quickly all of this is happening and we want to enjoy every minute!

Go Hogs!! I am positive that it was my little cheerleaders that lead them to victory!

Papa and Mamaw made sure that all 7 of the grandkids had appropriate attire to cheer on the Razorbacks! I realize that not a single one of them are actually looking at the camera, but aren't they adorable?!

We have received so much snow this season and the kids are loving it! I have to share a couple of Quinton stories from our last snow day.

When we woke up, we were getting ready for church and then learned that due to the roads, church was going to be cancelled. We opted to watch one of the sermons on t.v. and all of the closings were running across the bottom and the map showing the advisory was in the corner and as we were watching the preacher, Quinton says as seriously as possible, "it sure is nice of that weatherman to preach to us since no one can make it to church". Wess and I almost cried trying not to laugh, because it was such a sincere comment! Shortly after, Quinton said, "So, when are we going to Papa and Mamaw's house?". We asked him what he was talking about and he said, "We always go to Papa and Mamaw's to eat on snow days". So, after sharing this story with Mamaw....off we went! The goal was to build a snow man....they succeeded, but he's a pretty puny snowman! lol But they had so much fun throwing snowballs and making a mess of the snow that it was VERY worth the trip!

Christmas 2009

Well, yet again I am long over due for an update to the blog! Facebook is much faster at loading pictures and obviously I'm neglecting the blog as a result. I will make it a resolution to do better in 2010!

Three kiddos are proving to provide lots of fun and laughter throughout our house! We are so blessed and enjoyed spending lots of time with family during the Christmas Holiday! This was a fun and memorable year for us!

Alivia will be 6 months old on January 7th. I cannot tell you how fast the past 6 months have gone by. She is so much fun and we find ourselves constantly fighting for her attention, grins and giggles! The boys affectionately call her "cutie pea". It is so cute! They got "cutie pie" and "sweet pea" mixed up and it just stuck at "cutie pea". I love it and never want to forget that nickname!

Fall Fun...Loving This Weather!

I cannot believe it's been over a month since my last post....sorry about that! It's been busy times around the Gano house!

Alivia will be 4 months old on November 7th. It just keeps flying by! I love this baby more than I can write or express on a blog or any other way for that matter. She has truly been such a little blessing!

Copying from my friend Tara, here are a few things I really want to remember:

She LOVES her mommy! Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm her sole food supply, but I like to think she would love me anyway! haha
Miss Alivia will NOT take a bottle or pacifier of any kind for any reason for anybody! Yes, this is kind of an inconvenience at times, but I must admit....I know this is a fleeting time in her life and I am trying to soak up each moment that I get with her.
Alivia can roll over from her back to her front. She hasn't done it often....oh wait...that's because she doesn't lay down too often....another thing I really need to work on....Oh Well!
Alivia loves the entertainment that her brothers provide. As I speak, I can hear Quinton talking and playing with her. It is so sweet to see her light up when they come near her!
She is starting to "talk" to us a lot! She loves singing to KLRC in the car! She is especially good with the "Ah's" and "Ooh's"!

Weston is my little man! I just love getting to spend every day with him. I'm already completely dreading sending him to Kg. next year. I just can't believe it! I am going to miss him so much and I am just trying to treasure this year and enjoy the blessing of getting to spend some time with him!

Quinton is my big little man! He is growing up so fast! Somewhere along the way he has just become this smart little independent guy! We are so proud of him!

Alivia is already a little Razorback fan! She really enjoyed watching me and

the boys call the hogs!

Alivia had her 2-month shots today, so her smiles are harder to come by right now, but I know she will feel better soon! She weighed 14lbs 5ozs and is 23 1/2 inches long! That is the 75th percentile for both weight and height...she's a big, healthy girl! She has hit all the appropriate milestones and even held a little conversation with the doctor! I'm pretty sure she was trying to talk him out of the shots, but it just didn't work!

Random Updates...getting a little behind!

I'm getting a little behind on updates, so I've packed this post with lots of pictures! It's been a busy month and Alivia has grown so much! She weighs 14 lbs even! YES...she is a chunky monkey! haha She pushes herself up and loves to "stand" on your legs and look at you. She just continues to wrap all of us tighter and tighter around her little fingers! I cannot tell you how my heart just leaps every time I see her!

Alivia LOVES it when you talk to her and she has started "talking" back to us! It is so sweet! We've held full conversations and I tell people that she is already training to be a public speaker!

Last week we went to visit Granny and we had such a good visit! Granny was holding Alivia and they both looked so pretty! I told Granny not to move...I just had to get a picture!

We are all enjoying the new babies, but I think Papaw and Mamaw are especially proud! We are looking forward to Jason and Carrie's contribution to complete the trio of cuties!!

For those of you keeping track, Alivia Grace is 7 weeks old today and Abagail Faith is 2 1/2 days old. I've provided some of Alivia's baby thoughts and coos below:

A Very Eventful and Exciting Day!!

1) 8/22 Joint Birthday Party for Quinton and Isabelle at Chuck-E-Cheese

2) 8/22 "I'm in Labor"...says my sister-in-law Crystal (Woohoo!!!)

3) 8/22 Farmington Park...so much fun!

4) 8/23 (wee hours...1:49 am) Abagail Faith arrives! Beautiful!

Long Story:

Okay, so August 22nd began like any other CRAZY day! LOL Quinton turned 7 last Tuesday (8/18) and our niece, Isabelle, turned 4 yesterday (8/22). This year, we had a joint Birthday Bash for them and it was so much fun!

After the Birthday Party, several of us were heading to the Farmington park to play and enjoy the AWESOME weather that we had yesterday! On our way out the door of Chuck-E-Cheese, my sister-in-law says "I really think I'm in labor"...Oh My GOODNESS!!! Sure enough! So while Jacob, Crystal and my parents dealt with the labor aspect of the day, we went ahead and took all of the kids to the park where they played very hard for about 3.5 hours.

After the park, we took Wyatt and our kids and had a nice relaxing (okay...we had 4 kids, so that's kind of a stretch...lol) dinner at Denny's and then we were home bound for some much needed baths and showers!

Around 10pm, I took Wyatt and Alivia and headed to the hospital for the much anticipated birth of Abagail Faith! Wyatt gave it all he had to stay awake for this occasion, but in the end, he just couldn't do it! Abagail Faith was born at 1:49am (8/23)! She weighed 8lbs 10ozs and was 20inches long. For those of you REALLY paying attention, those are the EXACT stats of Alivia Grace born only 6 weeks ago! We thought that was just VERY cool! Abagail is so beautiful and even while I type this, I cannot wait to get my little hands on her again! She and Alivia will be close buddies and it is going to be so much fun to raise them together!

We are two down and waiting on our last little precious miracle neice who is due some time in early December! She is going to have a big welcome wagon of cousins waiting on her :o)

While yesterday was very long and exhausting, it was such a blessing to spend the whole day surrounded by family and then ending it with such a precious blessing! I just thank God so much for our family and even as I layed my head down on my pillow at 5am this morning, I just fell asleep thanking Him for how precious life is and for the blessings he allowed me to be a part of yesterday!

Saturday evening there was a rare occurance in the Waggoner Family.....all 5 of Papa and Mema's kiddos were under the same roof! So what did we do? We moved everyone outside to get a picture, of course!

Alivia - One Month Old

We cannot believe that our sweet baby girl is one month old today! At Alivia's last doctor visit, the doctor wasn't happy with her weight gain. She weighed 8 lbs. 10 ozs. at birth and then lost a pound before we left the hospital. She had only gained a few ounces back at her last appointment and the doctor told Alivia he wanted to see more weight the next time he seen her. Well, apparently, Ms. Alivia enjoys a challenge! At her weight check this morning, she weighed in at exactly 10 lbs!! I nearly fell over! I've been worrying that she wasn't getting enough milk....I guess that's one worry I can cross off my list!! In addition to her healthy weight, Alivia is very alert and can roll from her tummy to her back when she's really mad about tummy time (she did it twice in a row for me)! We are trying not to rush these things though :o) We are still just loving every minute and cannot give enough thanks for this blessing God has given us!

The last two weeks have just flown by and we can hardly believe Alivia is already 2 weeks old! She is filling out more and already changing and growing before our very eyes! Here are a few pictures to recap the life of a 2 week old!

Alivia is definitely getting comfy with her big brothers! She just stares at them....I can't tell yet if it's in fear or love, but I'm sure it has to be the last choice :o)

She has also made herself right at home on my side of the bed! This is Alivia and dad catching a nap....now that I think about it more, I'm not quite sure why Wess got the nap and I'm snapping pictures! haha

Alivia - One Week Old

It is just unbelievable to us that Alivia is already one week old! It is already flying by and we are trying so hard to just enjoy every minute of all of this! Alivia is the sweetest little girl that anyone could ask for. She had a couple of long nights, but she is doing really well and sleeping for up to 5 hours at a time during the night!

She just amazes all of us! Quinton and Weston cannot get enough of her and will sit and talk to her for long periods of time. They tell her all sorts of stories and ask her all kinds of questions and she just makes noises and grunts back at them and it seems to make all of them happy! I even snuck in a shower on one of Quinton's watches (a very quick one, as I was nervous wreck)!

Alivia weighed a healthy 8lbs 4ozs at her 1 week check-up and she is doing great!

The boys want to hold her all of the time, so we try to work it in as much as possible!

So sweet! I just love it!

Quinton would rather hold her when she is awake so that he can talk to her. She just doesn't interact enough with him when she is sleeping!

My dear friend Tara brought her mom, Hayden and Canaan over to see Alivia and even blessed us with several meals to help get us through this first couple of weeks! I am so happy that we will have little girls to raise together! I can see many play dates and sleep overs in their future! As you can see in this picture, Hayden is just a petite little thing, so I'm thinking that Alivia will catch up to her in no time! You won't even be able to tell that there is 5 month difference in age soon!

It has been a blessed week and we are just soaking it all up! We love all of our friends and family so much! You all have been wonderful!

3 Day Old Adventure

Several weeks ago, Quinton seen the sign at Chick-fil-a that said "Dress like me and eat free" on July 10th. He has been watching the calendar very close and today was the day! So, as if I have nothing else to do right now, I made some very make-shift cow costumes this morning and Alivia Grace has now had her first big adventure! The boys had so much fun and they did eat for free...all in all...a great day!

We cannot believe that Alivia is already 3 days old. We all are in love with her and she is just a blessing that we could never have imagined!

Quinton and Weston are already wrapped completely around Alivia's fingers and they do whatever necessary to make sure she has everything she needs to keep her comfy!

My precious money conscience boys! I'm sure they will love that I let them do this someday!! They were begging, I promise!

Wess and I are so blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy, fun-loving kids! We could not be happier with life right now!!

My Target Dream......

We are still anticipating the arrival of Alivia and growing more anxious and excited to see her with each passing day! I promise to have a post up asap after she is here with pictures of our adorable baby girl!

For today, I just had to post in honor of the most beautiful bouquet that I have EVER seen!! I decided to go to work at Arvest this morning and while I was there today, they surprised me with this basket of Target Gift Cards for Alivia. $405 worth of Target Gift Cards!!!! They definitely knew how to reach the heart of this pregnant girl!! For any of you that know me very well, know that I have developed a passion for couponing and Target has some of the best deals. At work they have seen me cart around my trusty coupon binder and rave about my awesome deals and so they all went together to give me this awesome basket! I feel so blessed to be a part of my Arvest Family! They are VERY good to me! Thank you guys!!

Waiting for Alivia.....

Well, the countdown is officially on! Alivia should make her arrival some time in the next couple of weeks and we are all getting very anxious to see her! Every time I go someplace without one of the kids, they ask me if I'm going to the hospital to "get Alivia out?" it is so sweet! I am praying that their excitement to see her doesn't fade after she gets here!

Weston was set on bringing her a baby doll when she was born, so we went to Target and both the boys have a little gift for Alivia when she does get here! They have packed them safely in the hospital bag, so that no one forgets to bring them in all the chaos of her arrival!

My mom remembered that she had my going home outfit stored away in their cedar chest, so she pulled it out and got it all cleaned up and gave it to us. The story I've been told is that my dad went and picked out my going home outfit when I was born. Once I seen what good shape it was in and that it wasn't a snow suit (I was born in December), we've decided that Alivia will wear this adorable little dress home too! How special!! Thanks Mom for cleaning it up....and Dad for the adorable dress!

But while we wait....life goes on! Quinton has lost both of his bottom front teeth, but he lost his top front tooth the night before he went to church camp. He looks so cute!

We will be sure to keep everyone informed in the upcoming weeks! Hopefully you will start seeing some pictures of three little Gano's soon!!

Giving Thanks.....

There is no picture to post, but I just had to share that at my appointment today, the ultrasound showed that everything has moved around and healed just perfectly! The lady doing the ultrasound was actually amazed at just how much everything had shifted. I am amazed, but only at how faithful God is in answering our pleas! I know everything would have been fine either way, but I am just really thankful that there are no scary medical things that they are worried about and that Alivia will be able to enter the world naturally whenever she is ready, as long as she doesn't wait too, of course ;o)
I just want to thank everyone so much for your prayers!

On a lighter note, the technician also kept saying, "I cannot believe how much hair she has!" Sure enough, after she showed me what we were looking at, Alivia appears to have a very full head of hair! I've never had an ultrasound this late in one of my pregnancies and I was amazed at how detailed everything looked! She has little chubby cheeks too! I have to admit....it made me a little more anxious to see her!

Sunday afternoon, the Crosses Community Church showered baby Alivia Grace with so many nice gifts! It was so much fun to open girly things! We received so many nice clothes, as well as practical items, such as diaper, wipes, lotions, etc. I think we are official set for her arrival!!

I must say that after settling in to being a mom of boys, while I loved shopping for girls, I just never really thought about all of the super fun things come along with actually having a girl! For instance, she will never have to wear the same outfit twice, as opposed to just wearing a different colored onesie under the ten pairs of overalls or jeans available! Not only are there a few million more clothes choices, each outfit comes with it's own little matching diaper cover (which I'm still thinking about how I will keep each one with it's outfit)! I couldn't attach every picture, but I did want to put a couple on here....it has just been so fun getting all of these outfits washed up and ready for her to wear! I can't wait to see her in them!

I LOVE the two bags that we recieved with her name on them! So sweet! The diaper cake was so adorable as well!

We also received a few hand-made blankets and quilts! Every gift is very special, but the time and talent that these ladies put into making these just amazes me!

I left Kendra, Elyse and Kayla in charge of my camera! They are always responsible in making sure every special moment gets captured! Even their mouths and noses!!!

This is Steven Gullege, who was our big little helper in making sure that all of the gifts got passed around for everyone to see. He ended up making a little bed out of the tissue paper and taking a few breaks! So cute!

Thank you to everyone for making Sunday such a special day!

We are getting so excited to see Alivia and we appreciate everyone who is helping us welcome our new little cutie into the world! She is already very blessed, as we are, to have so many friends and family surrounding us with love!

Happy Mother's Day.....and an unexpected gift!

Well, as most of you know, Wess and I are not very good at coming to an agreement on baby names! Both Quinton and Weston's names were finalized after they arrived and with this baby, I just wanted to know her name before we got to the hospital!
A couple of months ago, we came across the name Olivia and I fell in love with that name. Wess "liked" the name but wanted to just think on it some more. After some discussions and changing the spelling to "Alivia", he still liked the name, but just wanted to wait in case some other name that we liked popped up.
Needless to say, I am getting a little stressed about her upcoming arrival and feel like we are extremely unprepared in comparison to our first two. So to jump start the "thinking" again, I took it upon myself to buy the letters and decorate them to match the non-existent baby theme that I know is going to all come together in the next few weeks!!

Wess was a little surprised to find that I had gotten so brave and crafty, so I told him with letters like "A" and "I", that even if we came up with something else, I knew I would at least be able to use a few of the letters. However, it doesn't look like that is going to be necessary. This morning in my Mother's Day card, the three sweetest names in the whole world (see below) were on that card and I can now officially announce that "ALIVIA GRACE GANO" will be arriving very soon and we are getting very excited to get to meet her! I must also add that regardless of whether I had received this unexpected "name gift" today or if I hadn't, I have the most wonderful husband ever and I love him and thank him for each and every day that we get to spend together!

1st Grade Field Trip

Remember the good ole' days of class field trips! Those were the best, weren't they? Well, they are just as exciting to the kiddos now! Quinton could hardly sleep last night in anticipation of the Field Trip to Ozark Bowling today! The kids had a great time!

H.I.P.P.Y. Graduation

This year, Weston and Wyatt were fortunate enough to get to join the H.I.P.P.Y. Preschool Program in Elkins. Ms. Terri White teaches this program and does a Great job!! The kids really enjoyed it and the good news is, they get to do the 4-yr old program next year!

One of the really fun things that we got to do as a H.I.P.P.Y. Group was ride the Arkansas & Missouri Train. The kids LOVED it! It was so much fun!

At one point the train goes through the tunnel, which is pitch black. I was worried that Weston might get a little scared, but instead, he was making the scary laugh sound, trying to scare everyone else. This is a picture I took in the blackness and needless to say, scared was far from Weston's mind!

We love H.I.P.P.Y. and tonight was the graduation for all of the students. Weston and Wyatt graduated the 3-yr old program.

The Annual Papaw and Mamaw Easter Egg Fun

Every year my mom is a brave grandma and has all the grandkids over to decorate Easter eggs and have a hunt. This is the first year I've been able to join in on the fun and oh my goodness! This crew can be a little hard to keep track of! Needless to say, only one kid drank the dye and another ate a chocolate with the foil still on it but I'm happy to announce that neither of them were mine!! No harm was done, just a good laugh and a gentle reminder that we must stay on our toes at all times!

After decorating the yard, we moved inside where all of the boys got their own basket of goodies!

Then the "real" fun was about to begin! Granny even came down to witness all of this mania! Here is a picture right before we got started....I didn't get many of the actual decorating....like I said, all hands on deck! My dad got some good ones that my mom has posted on her blog, so you'll have to go check those out!

Decorating is fun, but the hunt is the best part!

Whew...a fun time had by all! The boys are all gathering to count their eggs.

We had a follow-up ultrasound today and we did get some good news! My placenta seems to have shifted "some", but not near where they want to see it, so I will have another ultrasound in 5-6 weeks to see if it moves the rest of the way! I'm confident that it will and we will have no problems :o)

The other news is that we got confirmation that the baby is a Girl! The lady doing the ultrasound pressed around all over my belly to make the baby move in all directions to ease our minds. She said, "there is NOTHING there" and she kept saying it over and over, so we are feeling much more confident in our pink endeavor at this point! I think her daddy is VERY excited to be having a little girl! The boys are warming up to the idea of having a little sister, so I think this is finally starting to sink in! Only 15 more weeks to go! It is just flying by!

Okay...this is definitely not one of my normal posts, but I've been imprisoned with sick kids (including myself) all week, so please just bare with me while I share some stay-at-home mommy excitement!!

For the last couple of months, I've really been trying the whole "coupon" thing....at first I got frustrated, didn't see that I was saving that much money, etc., etc. But I stuck with it and I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of it! FINALLY!!

People are now doing to me what I've been doing to my "couponing" friends for years...."HOW DID YOU DO THAT??" The truth is, now I get it.....you really just have to dive into it and find a system that works for you. The other truth is, it ISN'T always easy, but it is SO rewarding! I have to plug Target and Walgreen's, as they are definitely my favorites for a good deal!

Here is my take from a recent Target trip!

My total for all 18 items, with my coupons was $10.48, including tax!!! I have to admit, I did make Quinton and Weston each check out with a couple of items each, but they are the ones eating this stuff...I think it's okay for them to contribute to the savings!! I gave each of them $.25 and they each bought 2 of the Johnson Soap Buddies and a package of the Mott's Applesauce....FOR $.25!!! You gotta love being able to teach them the value of a quarter!!

Weston is 4 yrs old!!!

It's been a crazy week and I'm a little behind, but last week Weston turned 4 yrs old! I can't believe it! He is so big and he reminds us often so we don't forget! The pictures below are from his Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese last Saturday!

Today was the day that we got to have our big ultrasound to find out if the boys would have a Baby Brother or a Baby Sister.....

We are very excited, however, I must put a disclaimer that after MANY reviews of the Video the hospital so kindly supplied us (so we could second guess their expert opinion with our "we think" opinions), Wess was convinced that he seen "something" flash across the screen....after further review and being able to see the umbilical cord dangling out there, he now thinks that is what he is seeing, but you know what happens when you start second guessing yourself!

Anyway, the not so good news is that I have Placenta Previa, which the doctor said can sometimes heal itself over the course of the pregnancy, which is what we are believing for! The good news about this is that we will be having ultrasounds at our next two appointments, so while they are checking out the medical stuff, they also said they would re-confirm the gender to ease our minds!

Either way...Girl or Boy....we will be happy....right now, we are leaning in the pink direction ;o)

Ice, Ice and STILL no ELECTRICITY.....

Well....it's been an interesting week to all those in NWA! First, I want to say that we have been so blessed. Although our property looks like a 5 acre war zone, we had no damage to our home or any of the structures on our property. Even though we have been out of electricity since 8am Tuesday morning, we have had warm showers every day, we have not missed one meal (as my waist line can prove) and we have had good fun and lots of great conversation with our family!
Okay, now....we are still counting the hours that we have had no electric or heat at our house and we are looking forward to getting back home and resuming our normal routines, but until then, we are thankful for my parents who have let us move in and enjoy the luxuries of electricity! I've included several pictures of our property....not that we are privileged, as most of NWA looks this way......

We got the boys out yesterday to help pick up limbs around my parents house.....it proved to be a little too much for Weston, as he enjoyed the "break time" best!

At one point, my parents had our family and my brother Jason's family all living back at home! Our families make the house seem much smaller than it used to!

The boys enjoyed playing with each other, even though some cabin fever did start setting in after a while.....

Here is Wess with one of the many trees that were uprooted and laying on the ground at our house. This was especially hard to lose, as it still had the rope hanging on it that held the swing that he and his sister used to swing on when they were little......

We have months of clean-up to look forward to, but everyone is safe and our home is secure and we feel very fortunate!

I haven't posted many updates since we blasted everyone with our shocking news at Thanksgiving, so I thought I would give an update on Baby #3. Baby # 3 seems to be growing very quickly! This pregnancy is zipping by so fast. I am 17 weeks pregnant and we will be attempting a sneak peek at what little surprise is lurking on February 20th. I honestly have no real intuitions either way, although around 98% of all the people around me are just positive it's a "girl"! No pressure, right?! We will be thrilled either way!!

I haven't been very good this month with updating my blog, so I've just posted some random pictures from the Season just for a recap......

We had Christmas with Wess's family a few days before Christmas. All of the kids are getting so big, it's just hard to believe! Lucas is missing from this picture and I couldn't find where I got a good one of him, but he is so big and handsome. I'll get one soon! Juliette is also not pictured, but I got her in the picture below....she's just beautiful!

We celebrated with my family a couple of days after Christmas and had a great time! It's very rare that we all get together and it's always fun we get to!

This is a picture of Mamaw with a birthday cake and all her boys singing Happy Birthday to Jesus.

This is all four boys tearing into their gifts! Next year my parents have two chances on having a little girl join in this crazy action....we are due July 4th and my brother Jacob and his wife are due September 3rd. We'll see if we end up with 6 boys or if a girl dare enter this fun!

Quinton and Weston have both grown up so much this year. I am in awe at the experience of being a mom and getting to watch how God creates and molds us!

To round out the year, I got a special treat! Some of the girls that I went to school with all got together for lunch and it was so much fun! Our friend Laurel and her husband are moving to Portland, OR to help plant and seed a Church and we are so proud of them, though they will be greatly missed at home!! It was great to see you girls!

Yesterday, we made the annual trip to visit Santa at the Mall. Weston wasn't so sure about it at first, but no fear....Quinton rattled off his list, which was long enough to cover what any child in Fayetteville could ever want. Weston warmed up toward the end and managed to get a couple of requests in!

Today has been a very memorable day in the life of Quinton! You will notice by this wide-mouth picture this morning that there is no silver to be found.......

and then this afternoon, a not so wide mouth picture and a shiny tooth! Actually, there are two, there is another one right above the bottom that you can't see....I'm pretty sure when I say, "Quinton, go brush your teeth"....he will be much more serious about it now!

He really was a trooper and I was very proud of him! He is very sore this afternoon and probably will be for a few days, but the worst part is definitely over!

On a lighter note....our baby news is sinking in and we are all trying to wrap our minds around having another little Gano running around the house! It has been pretty humorous as well! When we had Weston, Quinton was barely old enough to even realize what was going on....that is until Weston actually got here and wrecked Quinton's whole world! This time, both boys are old enough to somewhat get what's going on and when we've asked them their thoughts on the situation, this is what we got......

Weston is convinced that their is in fact a baby in my belly....a baby frog that is! He is so excited to be getting a baby frog and he's pretty sure there is one in his belly too!

Quinton isn't really sure what to think about "another" baby, but he's positive he wants a boy and definitely not a girl! He also would like to know when babies decide they are ready to come out and "how exactly does the doctor get them out, mom?" "Can I come in and just watch the doctor take the baby out, so that I can tell all my friends how it happens?" Uhhhhh????

Shocking News.....to say the least...........

About 5 weeks ago, I started not feeling so well....like all of the time....after about a week and several more symptoms, the light bulb went off.....but there's no way, right?! Obviously, there is ALWAYS a way! Needless to say, a doctor's visit and ultrasound later, our little world was turned topsy turvy! Apparently, this third little blessing wants to make quite an entrance with a due date of July 4th.....we'll see if it hits it!
I was never sick with Quinton or Weston, but this time around, I am very aquainted with the restrooms in my home.....uggghh! We were telling everyone I just didn't feel well, but after a couple of weeks, people were getting a little worried and I felt like I was lying when someone would ask, so the boys helped leak our news over Thanksgiving. I think we definitely shocked a few people....but like Quinton's shirt says...no one could have been more shocked than us!

Last week, Wess and I got REALLY brave and decided to take Quinton, Weston, Wyatt and Kenyan to the pumpkin patch in Tontitown. It was SO much fun! The boys were great and adorable as usual!

I thought I had caused a lady at Chick-fil-a a coronary when I told her the boys were "Just turned 6, almost 4, just turned 3 and almost 2".....it was pretty funny....and then I shared with her that the youngest two weren't mine and she started coming back to life!

Last Saturday evening, the Waggoner Family came together for the annual October Birthday Bash! To our good fortune, Gene and Pat also threw in "Gene's Country Fish Fry", which we have all been spoiled by a few times a year! This week is Homecoming at Elkins, so of course with Homecoming, comes Spirit Week! The Primary and Elementary get to participate (which I think is new since I went through.....okay....I know it's been 20 years now, anyway...I really don't want to talk about that anymore) and Quinton could not wait for Wild and Crazy day! He is wearing one soccer sock and one of Wess's dress socks. He has "crazy" written on one cheek and "wild" written on the other!

Weston had to get in on the "wild and crazy" action by digging out a pair of glasses that I hadn't seen in a while! It was pretty funny to see him coming!

What a beautiful week!!! We thought a great ending to such an awesome week of weather would be to spend the afternoon at the park. The boys both have bikes now, so we loaded them up and spent the day at Gulley Park. We all had a great time! Weston of course is just practicing until he can get a motorcylce like Daddy, Papa and Grandpa Roy....hopefully, I have a few years before I have to worry about that!

As most of you know, I am now a stay-at-home mom!!! I feel so blessed to be able to have this time with Weston. I think this is the most one-on-one time that he has had ever! However, since he was 12-weeks old, he has had people to make sure he is entertained throughout the day and mom is trying to get the hang of "playing" instead of crunching numbers! We are two weeks into this and I am slowly learning how to rotate activities to make sure that Mr. Weston does not find himself too bored! haha
I thought I'd share one of our more humorous electives of the week! No...it is not Halloween at our house, when I find these outfits on sale, I'll grab them up and the kids love dressing up throughout the year.

Quinton has anxiously been awaiting the loss of his 1st tooth. We told him it would come out when it was ready and he told me that at lunch when he bit into his hot dog, his tooth must have been ready, because he left it in the bun! Honestly....there is never a dull moment in our house!

I had to share a Quinton "Original"......he has this ability to draw about anything he puts his mind to, which comes as a shock to me and Wess, as neither of us are very good at drawing anything other than stick figures and sometimes those don't even turn out that great! Anyway, on the way home the other night, Quinton asked me to look at his "shadow drawing" in the rear-view mirror. I nearly wrecked the car, because I could not believe that he had drawn the exact shadow of the Buzz Light-Year in the bottom corner of the magnadoodle. He was very proud of himself and me and Wess were even prouder! He never ceases to amaze us! I know that every parent of an artist likes to brag, but have you ever tried to draw anything on one of these magnadoodles? I think we can add another talent to the list!

Our newest niece has finally arrived....7 days past her due date!! Wess's sister, Sadie, had Ms. Juliette this morning at 3:30am. We are all evened up now....3 nephews, 3 nieces!

We are blessed and we are happy that the baby is here and everyone is healthy!

Finally, a POST!!! It's been a crazy month and I haven't had a whole lot of opportunities to sit down and post to the blog.....I'm hoping for slower days ahead (note the cherishyourmemoriesmedia.com link to the side). Anyway, all that aside, stick with me on this one. There are a lot of pictures, but it has been a month.......

We went to Branson for the 4th of July and we had a great time! I think we were all needing a little time away!

Weston was a little scary with a steel stick in his hands!

We rode the ducks for the first time. You would have thought it was Quinton's last wish by the way he was acting, so we did what we usually do after hours of saying "NO"....we caved and went on our way! Quinton and Weston did get to be Captains and drive the duck when we were on the lake though, so it was all worth it, right?!

We spent most of our time swimming this weekend. We stayed at the Grand Country Inn, which has the indoor waterpark called Splash Country. The boys love it!

Here's the deal....I have to beg Quinton to take a shower and not a bath, because he doesn't like the water pouring over his face....however, every time this 1000 gallon bucket would tip over and drop water, he raced so he could stand under it.....go figure....all I know is that bath time is over kid...get to the shower!

I have no clue who the people in the picture are, but it's the only picture I caught of the water coming down!

The lazy river and the hot tub is where me and Weston spent our time....please note that I did not stick my 3 year old in a real hot tub. They have a kiddie one that is probably about 90 degrees....maybe....really it's like sitting in a hot bath that's lost the hot! Oh well....it was still better than racing to get under a 1000 gallons of falling water with Quinton!

Weston really loved the frog that was outside too! I think he went down it enough times to make the frog's tongue sore!

A fun time was had by all! Quinton wanted to know why we couldn't stay on vacation all the time.....that's a lesson for a different week I guess!

Quinton also informed us this trip that he has figured out why we get the hiccups sometimes.....he was aggravated because he had some hiccups that wouldn't go away and he asked me and Wess, "Why do we get hiccups?" I told him, "Quinton, I really don't know...it's just something our bodies have to do every once in a while." A little bit later, he started laughing and we asked him what was so funny. He said, "I figured out why we get the hiccups". "Why, Quinton?" He said, "I think when God needs to laugh, he gives somebody the hiccups. I think it makes him giggle!"

Well, it's official......Quinton is now a Elkins Primary School Kindergarten Graduate! I'm still not really certain how we've gotten from the point of "It's a Boy!" to "I'm a first grader now, Mom!" The last 5 years have flown by and I absolutely do not feel old enough to have a child old enough to be graduating Kindergarten, but here we are. Time marches on! Ugg!

Our Memorial Day Weekend......

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend! It was very calm and non-eventful which is exactly what we needed! Saturday morning I got to keep my nephew, Kenyan, for a few hours. All of the boys had a great time! It was a lot of fun!

Weston had to get in on this action! He never wants within 2 feet of Quinton, but he wasn't too sure why Kenyan did either....better check it out!

Monday we took the boys bowling for the 1st time. Neither one of them had ever been, so it was definitely a learning experience for all of us! We had a good time! The boys were so fun to watch!

It took us a minute to adjust to our left hander! He caught on pretty quickly though!

Weston was just not really understanding what the three holes were in the ball for!

I mean....when you just roll the ball down the lane, you don't need holes, right?!

It took Weston's ball about 5 minutes to actually make it to the pins, so we had plenty of time to chat in between bowlers!

Well, it's beginning! Quinton had his very 1st T-Ball Game this evening! They have elected to call themselves the Purple Elkins Knights! It was adorable! Quinton chose to be #9....we'll see how many times that changes over the years! He is standing to the left of Coach Pretty, towards the back.

It's been a while since I've posted! I know all of my loyal blog checkers have been anticipating a new post! haha

Last Saturday, I took Quinton, Weston, my dad and mom and two nephews, Wyatt and Kenyan to the Touch-A-Truck Day in Rogers. It was so much fun! The boys got to climb all through various trucks and vehicles. They had a blast!

It doesn't matter where we go....if there is a motorcycle, Weston has to sit on it and he's a happy camper!

Quinton was thinking that he might want to be a weatherman, but they explained to him that it really didn't pay all that great and before he gets too far into his education, re-think his major!

Weston was very excited to actually get to operate the winch that was going up and down and up and down and up and.......

Weston decided to take a little break and just hang out in the tire!

These two and heavy machinery is a very dangerous combination!

I CANNOT believe it's been 3 years ago since my BABY was born! It is absolutely crazy how fast time is flying by! Weston is so much fun! He now reminds me about once an hour that "I not your baby anymore mom!" How about pulling that knife out of my heart, will ya?!

I had to post a few pictures of the "little curly headed Weston".....I thought I would never forget how curly his hair was, but after looking through some of his pictures, I CAN'T believe how curly his hair was!! How adorable!

A couple of weeks ago, the young people (a group that I can still be associated with as opposed to "the youth" haha) of Crosses Community and Living Hope Assembly came together for a fun filled evening of singing and fellowship! We are gearing up for our big youth rally and we were practicing together and it was so fun and most of all, spirit led and filled! We are so blessed!

Ms. Ann and Ms. Jana had everything all under control!!

(We love them for all of the hard work they put in for us!)

Today was the first day in forever (literally, I cannot remember how long) that I stayed home all day and did not go anywhere! I did not get behind the wheel car, I was not a passenger in a car, I did not enter a department store of any kind, or go to work....it was great! I spent the entire day with my family and this evening, Wess ran out to the church to work on some stuff and me and the boys did our Bible studies, they took baths (not in the coveted mommy tub, but still a good time!) and then we had a nice quiet movie playing to wind down from the non-stop play zone that the living room was today! I went in my room to get some things done before I put the boys to bed and when I went back in the living room, I just went "awwww"! Now I spend every evening with the kids, so it's not like I never see them, but rarely do I get to spend the whole day, with no errands (etc.) with them. Sometimes, you just have to slow down.....I think I'll make it a point to have more days like this in 2008!

I'm pretty sure I had a possum on my hands with the bigger one (note the smirk and forcefully closed eyes!), but even that was cute tonight! Thank goodness he happened to "wake up" just in time to walk to his bed! I'm not sure I could have hoisted him up to that top bunk without seriously hurting myself!

They are both getting so big! I just can't believe it! "Awwwwww!"

Believe it or not, this is the first time the boys have ever taken a bath in MY bathtub! My bathtub is the only place that I can sneak some quite mommy time, but tonight they broke me down! Daddy was trying to study for Sunday School in the morning and I was attempting to keep the boys quite enough that he could think for a little while. It worked! They loved the bubble bath....I have a feeling the first time, won't be the last!

Mom...did you know that your bathtub is SO much more roomy than ours! We feel right at home here.......

I just have to post this, because we had such a GREAT time at the Sanger Christmas this year! I failed to take any pictures with my camera, because I had the video camera going the whole time! The camera wouldn't have been able to catch all of the fun anyway! There was WAY too much action involved! Granny (the culprit) gifted all of the boys nerf guns (the weapon) for Christmas....needless to say, those of us without guns had to take cover! The living room quickly became a war zone....I think Lyndzi took a nerf ball to the cheek while I was unfortunate enough to almost have my eye taken out! Needless to say, the Nerf Christmas at Granny's will go down as one of the best in history! I have video to prove it!

Christmas with Papaw and Mamaw

Christmas with Papaw and Mamaw is always a main event at Christmas time. We added a new addition to the "kid clan" this year and Baby Kenyan has been such a blessing to all of us and makes family get togethers all the more interesting! I'm most certain that these four boys are going to be very fun.....yet exhausting to watch over the next several years! My mom is still holding out that someday.....maybe....yet not looking too promising, there will be a little girl added to the group! Only time will tell........

If you will notice in this picture, they are both on the move....it's nothing short of a miracle that they were even both looking in the direction of the camera!

Last Tuesday night, we went to the square with my Dad, Mom, Granny, Jacob, Crystal and Wyatt. It was such a nice night and we had so much fun. It happened to be my birthday and I couldn't think of a better way to spend it!

The Hogs pulled out a win against Oral Roberts on Saturday and my two little Hog fans were so excited to get to witness it!

We have had a wonderful Thanksgiving! At noon, we met at my Uncle Gene and Aunt Pat's house and this year, Wess's family joined us too! Weston is definitely our musically inclined child! The boy can keep a beat better than most adults! His favorite instruments to date are the air drums and the stick guitar!

We went to listen to Jason's band "Exit 62" play last Saturday and Weston decided he would just join in and help them out on the stick guitar! Nathan Gabbard is playing the guitar and his mini-me is right there for support just in case Nathan might need a break! My boys think that Nathan, Andrew (the Gabbard boys) and Levi (Eaton) absolutely hung the moon up in place! It is so adorable! They are living to be just like them!

The other picture is Jason singing and playing guitar and then I'm not sure the names of the bass guitarist or the drummer. They were really good though ;-)

The tale of the broken Angel.......

Once upon a time there was a mom who was home alone with her two sons. The mom was needing to take a shower and clean up to go someplace, so she asked the older son to quitely play with the younger son until she got out of the shower.
The mom got out of the shower to complete quiet and she thought "What good boys I have"! Since they were being so good and quiet, the mom thought she would go ahead and get her hair dried before releasing them from silence. After the mom finished drying her hair, it was still so quiet and at that point she thought "This is just scary"!
Upon entering the living room, both of her boys were sitting so good, but the younger son said something to the effect of "We're in twwwooouuubbbblllleeeee!!!!!!" The young son then pulled out the body of a beheaded angel and a baseball while the older son turned the angel's head over to the mommy and began telling the mommy what a horrible baseball player the young son was. The older son exclaimed "He only got the baseball in the glove one time!"
Now, the two sons new that they were not to be throwing balls in the house, but since it was "practice" they thought that it would be okay.......

You will have to look close, but Weston is holding the broken angel and the baseball....Quinton has the head and the glove.......

Wooops!!

This is their best effort in acting remorseful!!! It was hard not to just bust out laughing at them!

This mommy is pretty certain that this angel won't be the last thing that we have to glue together over the course of the next 18 years.......

1st Day of Kindergarten....

Okay...it's been a rough week....Quinton turns 5, Quinton starts Kindergarten, Quinton is making daddy and mommy realize how quickly life is flying by us!!

I am happy to report that Quinton had an excellent first day! He loves his teacher, Mrs. Evans and he even got to meet Coach Stone and go to P.E. today....you can't beat P.E.! The only incident we had was a flying pencil (in Quinton's words) that came flying through the air and poked him right in the eye....you gotta watch out for those pencils that sprout wings! We got through with no scars, physical or otherwise and he couldn't wait to go back....I'll remind of him of that in 4 or 5 years!

Believe it or not, Weston has had the hardest time transitioning to all of the changes....he just doesn't understand why bubby isn't going to school with him anymore......

Kaitlyn's mommy Jessica and myself were pregnant together with these two cuties! Kaitlyn arrived all of 3 weeks before Weston did....needless to say, they have been forced to spend almost every Church Service together for 2 1/2 years! Quinton had a wonderful day last Saturday.....he turned 5 yrs old! He woke up thinking he was big enough to do whatever he wanted......I mean, where do you go from 5? He's so funny!

Quinton received so many wonderful cards and gifts....Thank You!!!

Keith had the right idea....we've never denied the monkey traits in him!

Quinton will begin his soccer career this Saturday and is most excited about it! Uncle Rex, Aunt Jana, Lyndzi and Levi got him this little wall hanging that Quinton just loves!

Woohoo! Robots are just the best! Quinton has the robot all figured out. Weston is off limits from Quinton's robot! This is very serious business........

Yep...I had to try it....and someone HAD to catch me doing it! This is a whistle that I must admit is very fun to play with!!

Mom...did you know that bubbles really do have some nutritional value.....

Oh, I'm sorry....I didn't know you wanted me to stay OUT of the rain.....

Look at me...I am so proud that I have actually gotten into this posting to the blog thing! Now I take the camera with me everywhere I go, just to try and catch a cute snapshot to add to the blog! I hope everyone is enjoying looking at the kids and fam!

We have had several people e-mail us about our blog and how much they enjoy it, but it is going to be hard to start keeping everyone straight and who belongs to who. So - here's a small genealogy lesson.....(just a side note-you will notice several variations of the name Kristal, Krystle, Crystal spelled throught, these are all separate people, just one of those wierd things in life when one family gets to be so special to have so many!)

Wess and I have been blessed with (no partiality of course) 5 and we've added mr. Kenyan to the mix, bringing the grand total to 6 of the cutest, most adorable, gorgeous neices and nephews anyone could ask for!

Wess is my husband and he has 2 sisters and 1 brother. Wess is the oldest, then Sadie, Krystle and Mathew. His dad is Roy and he is married to Chika. His mom is Sherry.
Sadie and her husband (Dan) live in Sprindale and have 3 gorgeous children, in order, Lucas (10), Savannah (4 1/2) and Isabelle (2).
Krystle and her husband have moved to Spokane Washington with their precious little Ava (2 1/2).
Mathew and Holly live in Fayetteville are destined to be married and have children one day, but we just have to get them to this place first!! We love them dearly!

Kristal has two brothers. Kristal is the oldest, then Jason and finally Jacob. My parents, Bill and Rhonda live in Elkins are Pastoring at the Crosses Community Church in Crosses, AR.
Jason and his wife Carrie live in Farmington have no children and at the present time, no plans to bring any on board as they are busy helping to raise precious baby Kenyan (Carrie's sisters little boy).
Jacob and his wife Crystal have blessed us with my very adorable and loving nephew Wyatt (the climber of the bunch)!
